It all started back in 1960, when Don Hickman began working for a plumbing business in Washington State where he met and married the boss’s daughter, Nancy. He worked every day, side by side with his father-in-law and brother-in-law for eighteen years.
In 1978, Don moved his family to Arizona where he
continued working in the plumbing Industry. It wasn't until 1986 that Don started his own plumbing company, Hickman Plumbing, with his own sons in Tempe, Arizona. When they first started the business they had only one truck and ran the business from their home office. Don's Wife, Nancy Hickman, would watch the grandchildren during the day so their daughters could help run the business and then she would do paperwork in the evenings to keep everyone organized. Through the years our business has grown steadily, primarily through referrals from satisfied customers. That's because we believe our customers are our most important assets. We know that calling a plumber isn't on the top of your list. We also know that when you need a plumber, that they should be honest, friendly technicians who respect you and your home.
